The system needed to ingest and process massive, continuous streams of data from thousands of grid sensors and smart meters. The main design challenge was aggregating this data into meaningful visualizations that could quickly identify potential anomalies or peak load situations. The interface also had to be accessible and functional for technicians using tablets in outdoor, variable light conditions.
Lösung
We designed a dynamic, modular dashboard based around custom data visualizations (using modern D3.js principles) that offered multi-level filtering and drill-down capabilities. The interface utilizes a high-visibility, adaptive color scheme and was built with a mobile-first philosophy to ensure usability for field technicians. Key performance indicators (KPIs) were prioritized using a clear status card system.
